In preparation for St. Brigid’s Day on the 1st February, Primary 5, 6 and 7 made St. Brigid’s crosses, an important tradition in our school, homes and community. The children learned about the variations of St. Brigid’s crosses that have existed throughout Ireland and each class made a different style of cross. Thank you to the McAuley family for kindly supplying the rushes. We now hope St. Brigid brings the spring!
